WSKR Cats

What is included in the cost of adoption fees
(or how much does that free kitten actually cost?)

All WSKR kitties have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinated for rabies, upper respiratory combo (FVRCP), and Feline Leukemia at minimum and come with a certificate for a free vet exam.

At your local clinics this is the cost of the medical needs of a new kitten:

The Humane Society of Southern Arizona Spay/Neuter Clinic:

Alter surgery for female cat:

First FVRCP vaccination (booster in adult cats):

Second FVRCP vaccination (for all kittens):

Third FVRCP vaccination (for most kittens):

First FeLV vaccination (booster in adult cats):

Second FeLV vaccination (for all kittens):

Rabies vaccination:

Microchip:

FELV/FIV test:

Deworming of cats/kittens:

And that is assuming that there are no complications or other medical needs, in other words, a completely healthy kitten or cat.

WSKR adoption fees are currently:

$80 for a single adult cat or kitten 7 months and older.
$100 for a single kitten 6 months or younger. ($99 if special needs)
$TBD for special needs cats or senior cats (7 years and older)

(When adopted in pairs, second cat's adoption fee is discounted $15)
(Bonded pairs are adoptable for $165)**.

**Adoption fees are subject to change and in some cases may be more or less depending on specific kitty's situation.  Bonded pair cats will be adopted at a greater discount in an effort to encourage people to keep them together.  Cats must be identified in description as a bonded pair, with other cat named as bonded with them.
